While I haven’t been writing a lot the last few days, as far as fiction is concerned. I have managed to put the finishing touches to something I started in the final days of NaNoWriMo, and adaptation of the lyrics for “Merry Christmas Everybody” by Slade into “Vorlon Christmas”:

Are you seeing Morden’s head up on a pike?
When he smiles and asks you what you’d want or like
Does he poison off Adira
To make Mollari turn his way
Are you looking for a way to make him pay?

Chorus:
So here it is,
Vorlon Cristmas
Got the shadows on the run
Look at the rangers now
It’s only just begun

Are you waiting for the psi-cops to arrive?
Are you sure you’ve got the sleepers by your side?
And does Bester always tell you
That the psi-corps is the best
While he’s searchin’ for some rogue teeps to arrest

Chorus

What can a psi-cop do when he sees that Lyta’s kissing Santa-Kosh? – aha

Are you trying to avenge the captain’s fall
Are you hoping that the first ones hear your call
Do you ride the lock-on signal
White Star heading for the gate
When you find the Vorlon fleet almost to late

Chorus (four times)

If anyone has suggestions on how to improve these lyrics feel free to leave a comment.

One Response to “Vorlon Christmas”

  1. [...] Then I saw Lyta teasing Santa Kosh Out of his encounter suit so bright Oh what a laugh it would have been If Bester had only seen Lyta kissing Santa Kosh last night As with the previous lyrics for Vorlon Christmas comments are of course welcome. Particularly if anyone has a more accurate blue sector level number for crew quarters. The numbers one through ten, with the exception of seven, and the number twelve can all be substituted for the five. [...]
