My new watch arrived today. Since I haven’t blogged about ordering it this might be the first you hear about my new watch, unless you happen to know me.
As you can see it’s not just any watch, it’s a binary watch. It came with a rather ugly leather watchband, but I knew that when I ordered it. Finding one that comes with a metal band is relatively rare, and they usually cost three times what I paid for this one. Twice what I paid for it when you take the cost of buying the new watchband into account.
It’ll take some getting used to over the next few days, though I can tell some numbers at a glance already. But that’s part of the fun of going binary: having a watch that only a select few can instantly tell the time from.
