I’ve been feeling under the weather today, well actually since last night. To be precise since late last night when my dinner decided to exit by the same route it had taken in. But let’s not focus on that too much, I haven’t dared eat yet today, and if I think of my stomach too much the water I’ve drunk might decide to exit as well (or so it feels).
Because I’m feeling under the weather I got to thinking about that phrase “under the weather”, which, technically, we (or most of us) are nearly all the time. After all we’re only above the weather in aeroplanes, or high in the mountains. Still let us say I’m more under the weather than usual right now, and felt the urge to blog about it.
