A post from Starstuff over at Rule TwentyNine just jogged my memory and made me add this category. Not just to be ready for November but also because, unusually, I’m already pretty certain of what I’ll be writing even though it’s only July. In fact I’ve known for a month or more now, while usually I wouldn’t expect to have any firm ideas until August or so.
On the other hand it might be a bit much to say I have a firm idea now. Actually all I have is a setting (a space station orbiting Jupiter). Who the characters are, or what they’re doing, is all still to be decided. So maybe I’m still just on schedule to have it figured out in August.
