Thanks to a quiet day at work (I got to leave early) and some gorgeous weather I got in a beautiful afternoon tour of the Hortus Botanicus in Haren. I visit those botanical gardens pretty regularly, but don’t often take my camera along (generally settling for occasional snapshots with my phone).
But I decided to do things differently this time and take my ‘proper’ camera along to get some better quality shots. A small selection of those is posted below. Aside from close-up pictures of flowers, which I often take in these sorts of places, I’ve also included two that show the atmosphere of the Chinese Garden, which is the second biggest garden of this type in Europe.
